Phasing Through 3After locating Zumi, they were both shown to their new room, which was identical to every other bedroom. A single grey room, with a bunk bed and a glowing clock on the wall. Two chests were slid under the bed, one for each roommate. Other than that the rooms were all empty. Zumi had already found her way to the top bunk and was lying there staring at the ceiling. Sam turned off the light and searched blindly for her bed before climbing in, exhausted. What Bane had said unsettled her, why had she seen herself in the past?“Zumi?”“Yeah?” Kazumi looked over the railings wearily.“How come future me was at the garage? How come I didn’t remember I would be there?”“Sam, do you remember every day that you have ever lived?”“Ummm…no?”“Exactly.” Kazumi flopped back on her mattress as if the matter was solved.“But, wouldn’t future me remember finding future her at the garage and time travelling?&
Phasing Through 2“Wah!” Kazumi sprung up, eyes alert, looking like she was ready to karate chop anyone who came at her. At least Zumi was awake now, Sam had been waiting in the confinement cell for what felt like hours. First they had helped Kazumi, but as soon as that was done they were thrown into the little grey room. Sam hated little grey rooms. She hated them even more when there was no explanation for why she was in them.“Relax” She said to Kazumi. “Nothing, I really mean nothing, has happened for hours…Though I could swear I saw a dust mote….May have been my imagination…” Sam sighed. So boring.“So any info on…well, anything?” Zumi sat back down already sensing the lethargic atmosphere.“Nope...All I know is that apparently the blue stuff is the ‘enemy’s’ weapon of choice. Didn’t even find out why that chick looked like me.”“Well, she didn’t look exactly like you, she loo
Story“Hey, thanks for promising to help me out today, trust me when I say that the place is a mess.” Sam laughed. Kazumi returned a smile.“Don’t worry about it, I was just wondering why the ‘protégés’ not helping.”“Oh, Vi? She’s training with Luna, it’s great that I can finally leave the two alone together... At least I think I can…” The two walked side by side in conversation, it had been a while since they had spoken last. In fact, Sam was kind of glad that her garage had ended up so messy, just so the two of them could catch up. She would definitely have to make something for Zumi as thanks, though. “Just wait til you see how far I’ve come with the Spectral Stryker, it’s so close to being finished, I can feel it.”“Why aren’t you working on it right now?” Kazumi joked. “Hey, am I the only one helping out today?”“Yeah, why?
